What Must I Do?

Passage: Matthew 25:31-40

Speaker: Pastor Scott Stephan

Series: Everybody Always

Bob Goff
“The way we love each other lets everybody know that the baby in the manger isn’t just a decoration.”

“Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?” The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:37-40

What’s going to be on the test?

What’s the bear minimum I have to do to have eternal life?

Tear down your idols; Love God; Love your neighbor; Forgive others; Repent and make amends for your wrong-doing; Ask Jesus to remember you; Hear Jesus words; Believe in the Father; Look after orphans and widows, Keep from being polluted by the world; Feed the hungry; Welcome the stranger; Clothe the poor; Visit the sick and the prisoner...

“And this is the testimony, God has given us eternal life and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son, has life. Whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
